Background Screening and Abuse Prevention Systems Training (Pending revival)

Kent County Youth Soccer is committed to the safety of our youth players. The board feels that a critical step to protecting our players is to require background checks and Abuse Prevention Systems training of all coaches and assistants.

The Association is absorbing the cost of all background checks.

Abuse Prevention Systems Training

The new Safe Sport Act was passed by Congress in response to the overwhelming amount of abuse accusations that surfaced in 2017. The Safe Sport Act link below will take you directly to the bill that was passed.
